Let's start off with the name, can we?
Kashan is a city in Iran located south of Tehran and North of Isfahan.
Is this rose distilled from green roses? No, it's not. It was distilled in copper pots, and this gave it the green color, thus, we called it Green.
To my nose, this must be the most grounding rose I've ever smelled. Yes it's rose, vibrant and sparkling, but it's anchoring and rooting at the same time.
It opens up with velvety herbal notes engulfed with rose. hints of citrus play in the background, with an aquatic fresh overall feeling. If I would describe it's energy, I'd say GRATITUDE. Gratitude in the sense that it's meditative, subtle, with a positive open feeling to it.
A must have in your aromatics arsenal!
*This rose is waxy and heavy to the degree that it solidifies in room temperature.
