Kalbar, which is short for (Kalimantan Barat - West Kalimantan) is a region that went into the history of Oud.
Apart from the legendary Malinau/Tarakan in Borneo, this region is known for some legendary Agarwood profiles that are craved by oud connoisseurs to date! From Sekadau to Putussibau, this region has got a number of forests with very lovely profiles indeed.
Mind you, these are not sinking solid chunks, but rather are mostly sinking grade chips which celebrate Kalbar in every way. Woody incensy, spicey, and still sweet! it's more of a warming smell, it's spiciness is dark red in color and the incensey oudy vibe in this wood is strong.
